Hey dolls, I think its safe to say November has been pretty much a write-off in the world of Budget Beauty Queen! I don’t really know why that is but with one thing and another it just hasn’t been happening this month! I’m hopeful that next month will see an improvement and that the new year will mean bright and shiny things on the blog! Thank you to everyone who’s stuck with me in this lacklustre patch! I promise it’s not permanant!
So anyway, in todays post I wanted to share with you the couple of colours I picked up from the OPI Muppets Collection. I have to say this was by far the most exciting collection to come from OPI in a long time for me! Full of glitter and some really beautiful colours, I wish I could afford to buy them all! There were however two stand out colours for me and I had to have them! They were the very popular Rainbow Connection and Excuse Moi!
Rainbow Connection
You may remember seeing a couple of mentions of my love for Deborah Lippman’s Happy Birthday nail polish in previous posts. I couldn’t get my hands of it and I’m actually now quite glad I didn’t splash out on it as Rainbow Connection is the most beautiful glitter polish and a bit cheaper! It’s full of large and small glitter of loads of different colours and it actually applies really well which is unusual for a polish so full of glitter. It just adds a lovely amount of glitz to my nails and I can see why it’s been so popular! I tried to capture what it looks like inside the bottle but it didn’t photograph that well but I hope you can see what I mean! I’ve also included a picture of my nails when I applied it last week. In the photo its 2 coats over Ciate’s Dangerous Affair. It lasted so well without chipping but was of course a pig to remove!
Excuse Moi!
Excuse Moi hasn’t been quite as popular as Rainbow Connection but I really like it and feel it’s quite unique. It’s marketed as a pink shimmer but it’s definitely more red. It’s perfect for Xmas and I’ll be trying it out for size this weekend!

What polishes from the Muppets Collection have you tried? I’ve definitely got my eye on Divine Swine and Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It! Unfortunately neither of them are in the mini set though
